Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with an engineering background to join our team as an Operations Support Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth data analysis, working with big data sets, leveraging analysis to infer business intelligence from big data and be expected to apply oneself in a technical and practical aspect when understanding the functioning of a SMART Automated Teller Machine (ATM).
Job description

·        Data Analysis & Big Data Management, some examples include:

o    Conduct comprehensive data analysis to derive actionable insights and support decision-making processes

o    Utilize statistical methods and tools to interpret complex data sets

o    Critically analyse cash forecast trends, ability to interpret and understand cash forecast trends and performance

o    Optimisation of cash holdings, understanding the P&L drivers and how these drivers link to operational efficiencies

o    Work with large and complex datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity

o    Develop and implement strategies for handling and analyzing big data effectively

·        Multi business department engagement – engage with many different business departments to solve complex business problems and integrate the identified business solution back into the specific business unit.

·        Ability to leverage technical skills and business acumen to identify business solutions. Using technical data analysis and big data handling skills to infer meaningful insight and information which is translated into a business orientated solution.

·        Business process optimization – working with multiple business units to identify areas of process improvement and process optimization

· Business reporting automation – ability to identify opportunities and implement methods in which daily/monthly/weekly reporting can be optimized and automated - working closely with in-house development and data teams.

Minimum requirements

·        Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a STEM related field

·        Strong coding skills (at a minimum Python)

·        Proficiency in handling and analyzing big data sets (Big Data science Background will be preferred)

·        Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting

·        Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)

·        Familiarity with database systems (SQL)

·        Knowledge of machine learning concepts would be advantageous

·        Strong analytical, Business and financial acumen
