Introduction
The purpose of this position is to ensuring that the company's stock levels meet business needs. You will be responsible for tracking all stock movements, updating internal inventory systems, keeping abreast of stock levels and daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
Job description

  • Process all depo transfers/movements on the inventory management system
  • Compile reports for stock adjustments and submit for processing
  • Monitor and Maintain stock levels and escalating matters of concerns
  • Ensure monthly scrapping and installation movements have been accounted for
  • Reconcile system movement on the Inventory Management System to physical movement of stock
  • Balancing of all warehouses/depos
  • Submit monthly reports for all depos
  • Update Inventory Management System on all ATM Movements
  • Save all movements on the shared drive for easy access
  • All Reports, stock takes and relevant information must be saved, relevant paperwork must be filed in a systematic methodology
  • Investigate all Variance identified, and escalate
  • Submitting Monthly reports such as Scrapping, Installations, InterBranch movements, etc.
  • All ATM Movements, must be updated, and submitted in a monthly report timeously
  • All New TERMID processed on CRM to be replicated onto the Inventory Management System
  • Once ATM is built and allocated, to ensure the system is updated accordingly
  • All Changes made on CRM, must be monitored, and Stores Team to be alerted
  • Work on Implementing automation within the warehouse environment, in keeping with our phase in approach from manual to long term system based
  • Perform routine admin duties, including data entry, assisting internal teams, spot checks on Stock takes

Minimum requirements

  • Completed Matric qualification
  • Completed B.COM or Stock Controlling related Qualification
  • Min 2 years’ experience in an Inventory Controller position is non-negotiable
  • Min 1 to 2 years’ experience in an administration role
  • Must have previous stock reconciliation and balancing experience
  • Knowledge of Parts would be beneficial
  • Occupational Health and Safety knowledge would be an advantage
  • Report writing and problem solving skills
  • MS Office, Excel and working knowledge of WMS especially on Business Central will be advantageous
  • Knowledge of an Operating stock management system
