Introduction
The purpose of the position is to prepare, test and dispatch new and refurbished ATMs to company targets and quality standards, handling related administration and health & safety requirements to keep a healthy deployment cycle.
Job description
ATM Assembly
- Prepping local and international ATM’s according to departmental and company targets
- Assemble ATM components and ensure they are securely fitted, functional, aligned and visually acceptable
- Test each ATM and complete the required successful transactions, including supporting transaction slips, before final sign-off
- Generate and retain the required printout displaying the UMK digits for verification purposes
- Prepare new and refurbished ATMs within required timelines and to the agreed quality standard
- Follow the approved ATM preparation procedures and ensure all required steps are completed correctly
Admin
- Adhere to all safety regulations
- Complete lock installation checklist
- Follow instruction as per device movement form
Policies and Procedures
- Maintain tools, equipment and spares in good working condition, and report any lost or damaged items
- Handle all spares carefully to prevent damage and return unused items to stores as required
- Comply with occupational health and safety requirements, including the correct use of PPE, equipment and housekeeping practices
- Ensure tools and test equipment are accounted for, secured and packed away at the end of each day
- Complete monthly tool checks and maintain accountability for all tools in use
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by management
Minimum requirements
- Matric
- Completed Mechanical and/or Electrical Qualification
- Min 2 years technical experience with fault finding
- Able to work on MS Office / PC
- Technical aptitude - 60% Mechanical; 40% Electronic
