Introduction
The purpose of the position is to install, maintain ICD & repair faulty parts in the repair center.
Job description

  • Install solar panels and ICSDISS units in accordance with operational requirements and company standards
  • Manage and control stock to ensure availability, accuracy and effective utilisation of parts and equipment
  • Service, maintain and replace Dye Stain systems, locking systems, solar panels and inverters as required
  • Complete job cards accurately, timeously and in line with internal administrative requirements
  • Achieve weekly operational targets within the repair centre
  • Repair allocated spares and monitor repair progress to ensure efficient turnaround times
  • Collect scheduled faulty parts from the designated stores in line with supervisor or team leader priorities and repair schedules
  • Scan each part at the start of the repair process to ensure accurate tracking and record-keeping
  • Diagnose faults and source the required small spares from the relevant store to complete repairs effectively
  • Repair NMD dispensers, including feeders, qualifiers, stackers, diverters, BCUs, reject bins, cassettes and BOUs
  • Repair card readers, keypads, electronic boards and monitors according to technical requirements
  • Update and print the relevant job card upon completion of each repair
  • Achieve monthly repair targets as set by the business
  • Quality Assurance
  • Submit repaired parts to the Quality Control Department for testing and verification
  • Obtain and review feedback where a repaired part does not meet Quality Control standards
  • Ensure the number of parts returned following Quality Control failure remains within the approved threshold
  • Occupational Health and Safety
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe workstation to minimise the risk of accidents or injuries
  • Inspect tools regularly to ensure they are safe, functional and in good working condition
  • Report damaged tools, unsafe working conditions or unsafe practices to the team leader, supervisor or safety representative

Minimum requirements

  • Matric
  • Must be MS Office proficient
  • 2 years’ experience in the ATM industry would be an advantage
  • 2 year’s customer service experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a min of 2 years on the job driving experience
  • Must have Electrical or Mechanical Experience
  • Dispenser and ICDSISS installations knowledge would be an advantage
  • Stock management experience
  • Able to use electrical tools
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends and able to stay away from home for extended periods of time
